Advisor neglects to mention quarterly report due today until TODAY

Soooo....what happened about the quarterly report? Did they make you stay after school or something? Don't keep us in suspense!......(Remember--we mundane readers have no life!)
no, it ended up being fine. we just started the project two weeks ago so there really wasn't much to report...which is why the need for a report came as quite a surprise. my advisor ended up getting something together.
Well that's a relief although you could probably jazz that up with some wild story, and get all kinds of sympathy!
Sounds like the same old story with qtrly reports....Oh wait, no the old story is pestering emails for long stretches until you are ready to strangle someone.
